One year have passed since the “Great Tohoku Earthquake” hit Japan. Many lives have perished. Many lost their homes and families. Children have suffered. But Japan never gave up. They still stand strong, never lost hope. They helped each other in times of need. They helped even in the smallest way they can. They encouraged each other. Japan, one year have passed. I know the pain is still there, you’ve been through a lot, but I admire you. You managed to get up once again. Last year we said, “Gambare, NIHON!” Now we can say, “Otsukare, NIHON! Kore kara mo, gambatte kudasai”.
